The TUSA Platina II Hyperdry SP-170 suits surface snorkelling and scuba divers who prefer a semi-dry splash-control system. Its flexible neck, shaped mouthpiece and rotating mask attachment help you find a comfortable position before you enter the water.
Features and benefits
- Hyperdry splash control: Three flow-directing plates and a separate escape passage help divert splashed water away from the main breathing tube. This semi-dry system does not seal the top when you submerge it.
- Angled purge chamber: Water collects near the large lower valve, making it easier to clear. The angled outlet directs purge bubbles away from your face.
- Flexible silicone neck: The lower section moves with the mouthpiece and drops aside when released, helping make room for your scuba regulator.
- Contoured bite and swivel keeper: The shaped silicone mouthpiece and detachable two-section adapter let you fine-tune the tube position instead of holding it in place by clenching your jaw.
Fit and use
Set the keeper so the mouthpiece sits comfortably with a relaxed jaw. The semi-dry top reduces splash entry; water can still enter when the opening goes below the surface. Select your colour from the available options.
Use the snorkel for breathing at the surface with its opening above the water. Clear any water before taking your next breath; a snorkel does not supply air while submerged.

Care and storage
Flush the tube and mouthpiece with fresh water after use, including the splash guard and lower purge valve. Let it air-dry in the shade and store it away from heat and direct sunlight. Check the mouthpiece, keeper and valve for wear or trapped sand before each swim.
