Salvimar Hero Speargun 95–125 cm
The Salvimar Hero combines an elliptical aluminium barrel, a Teflon shaft guide and twin 14 mm rubbers in a speargun designed for reef and open-water spearfishing. Its shaped handle, soft chest-loading pad and adjustable Heavy Metal 350 trigger mechanism give you a comfortable platform for loading and handling the gun.
Elliptical aluminium barrel with a Teflon guide
The aircraft-grade aluminium-alloy barrel has an enlarged elliptical profile to help balance the gun in the water. A Teflon guide supports the shaft along the barrel, providing a smooth contact surface as the shaft travels forward. The barrel’s shape also keeps its vertical profile low when tracking across the water.
Twin 14 mm rubbers with Dyneema bridles
Two 14 mm Italian-latex rubbers are supplied with quick-release Dyneema bridles. Each band is loaded separately, and the open multi-band muzzle keeps the rubbers arranged along the barrel. A line guide is incorporated into the muzzle for use with a reel setup.
The 95 cm Hero comes with a 7 mm shaft. The 105 cm, 115 cm and 125 cm versions come with 7.5 mm shafts.
Heavy Metal 350 mechanism and a cushioned loading pad
The Heavy Metal 350 mechanism has adjustable trigger sensitivity, a reinforced stainless-steel frame and a roller sear. The ergonomic handle brings the grip high behind the barrel, while the soft rubber loading pad cushions contact with your chest. A handle attachment point provides a place to secure a line or suitable snap hook.
Open muzzle and reel mounting provision
The Hero is supplied with an open muzzle. The 95 cm version also includes a bridge clip that converts the muzzle to a closed arrangement; this clip is not included with the longer sizes. A reel mount is fitted, but a reel is not included.
Care, rinsing and storage
Rinse the unloaded gun with fresh water after each dive, including the shaft guide, muzzle, handle, line release and shaft. Allow it to dry in the shade before storage, and keep the rubbers away from heat and direct sunlight. Inspect the rubbers, Dyneema bridles, shaft and shooting line for wear before use. Follow Salvimar’s instructions for maintenance, trigger adjustment and compatible replacement parts.

Contact us within 30 days of delivery to request a refund, exchange or optional store credit on eligible unused goods within Australia. Refunds go to the original payment method. Keep goods clean and undamaged with tags, original packaging and all accessories. No restocking fee applies to eligible returns meeting these conditions.
For change-of-mind returns and size exchanges, you pay return postage and replacement shipping. Original delivery charges are not refunded. Water-tested goods, clearly marked clearance items and genuinely custom-made or personalised items are excluded from change-of-mind returns. Ordinary discounted goods remain eligible.
