The Ocean Hunter Phantom Youth Mask and Snorkel Set pairs a smaller-fit mask with a splash-guard purge snorkel. Its silicone skirt, adjustable buckles and silicone mouthpiece make it a practical set to compare for junior and youth snorkellers who need something smaller than a typical adult mask.
Features and benefits
- Liquid-silicone skirt: provides flexible contact around the face.
- Quick-adjust side buckles: allow one-handed strap adjustment.
- Black skirt: reduces light entering from the sides.

Rough age and fit guide
Approximate age guide: 10–15 years. This is a guide only. Children and teenagers of the same age can have very different face widths, nose shapes and mouthpiece needs. Choose by the actual mask seal and mouthpiece comfort, not age alone.
Mask and snorkel fit
Face width, shape and nose-pocket comfort determine mask fit. Keep hair clear of the skirt, use light strap tension and check for an even seal without the frame pressing on your face. Adjust the snorkel keeper so the mouthpiece rests comfortably without a strong bite. Our Hallam team can help compare shapes if you are unsure.
Children of the same age can have very different face shapes and foot sizes. Check the mask seal, mouthpiece comfort and fin fit separately. Keep hair clear of the mask skirt and adjust the strap without overtightening. The child should be able to hold the mouthpiece gently with their lips closed around it.
Practise fitting, surface breathing and snorkel clearing in calm, shallow water with active adult supervision. A snorkel is not a swimming aid and only supplies air when its opening is above the surface.
Care and storage
Rinse the mask and snorkel in fresh water after each swim, removing sand from the buckles, straps and snorkel top. Allow everything to dry in the shade before storage. Use a suitable anti-fog treatment as directed and avoid abrasive cleaners, toothpaste or flame treatments. Check the skirt, mouthpiece, valves and straps before each use.
