The Ocean Hunter Seaskin Ice Cell 3.5mm Spearfishing Wetsuit features a striking yet functional camouflage pattern, combined with a high stretch Open Cell inner for increased warmth and comfort. All seams are of Glued and Blind stitch construction to improve warmth and minimise the ingress of water.
Features and Benefits
- Open-cell interior: The unlined inner neoprene sits directly against the skin, helping the suit seal closely and limit water movement. A compatible dressing lubricant helps the surface slide into place without pulling on it.
- Seam construction: Glued and blind-stitched. The joins help limit water passage through the panels and support the areas that flex when you move.
- Reinforcement: Chest loading pad. These panels help resist everyday rubbing at contact points without requiring the whole suit to use the same tougher outer material.
- Loading pad: The chest pad provides a reinforced contact area when loading a speargun. Position the suit and pad correctly before loading; it does not replace correct technique.
- Head coverage: Hooded jacket and long-john pants. A properly fitted hood continues the insulation around the head and neck; settle the face opening comfortably without folding the seal.
- Torso overlap: The longjohn-style pants extend over the torso beneath the jacket. The overlap adds neoprene coverage around the body and helps keep the two components positioned together.

Fit and Sizing
Compare your chest, waist, hips and height with the model’s size guide. The suit should sit closely without restricting breathing or shoulder movement. Settle the panels into place and check for excessive gaps or folds before deciding on a size. Match the thickness and coverage to the water conditions, activity and your own comfort. Warmth depends on fit, exposure time and the rest of your exposure gear.
Gear Care and Washing
Dive Gear Australia recommends Cressi Neoclean Wetsuit Wash or Revivex Wetsuit Shampoo for compatible neoprene. Regular cleaning helps remove salt, chlorine and everyday residue and, together with thorough drying and proper storage, helps extend your gear’s life. Use the label dilution and follow this product’s care instructions.
For dressing, use a lubricant made for open-cell wetsuits, mixed as its instructions require. Work the suit into place with flat hands, keeping fingernails and jewellery away from the unlined surface. Avoid ordinary shampoo or conditioner as a dressing lubricant.
After every use, rinse the suit inside and out in cool fresh water to remove salt, chlorine, sand and other residue. Gently hand wash when needed using a wetsuit cleaner suitable for the material, following the cleaner’s dilution instructions and the garment care label. Rinse thoroughly after washing.
Let both sides dry completely in the shade with good airflow. Support the suit on a broad wetsuit hanger, or drape it over a wide support to avoid stretching the shoulders. Store clean and dry in a cool place away from direct sunlight, heaters, hot cars and sharp folds.
Handle smooth seals and inner surfaces gently. Avoid scraping, scrubbing, fingernails and jewellery, and do not stretch a seal by pulling on a small section of it.
Do not machine wash, tumble dry, iron, bleach or use solvents. Follow the supplied care instructions for this suit and its zip before using any cleaning or maintenance product.
