HUNTMASTER has incorporated true innovative technology for spearfishing floats. These tubeless floats are constructed with the strongest material on the market – 0.9mm PVC. This material is used for high-end Rigid Inflatable Boats (RIB) such as marine rescue and police boats. These floats come in a range of high visibility colours.
With a tear capacity of over ‘450kgs’, the Reef Plus float is built tough because it needs to be! The Reef Plus float has 38kg of lift at 20m depth and can hold 2.0 Atmosphere. It’s perfect for medium to large fish, anything up to around 50kg, and is small enough and maneuverable enough to tow on shore dives.
Why Reef ‘Plus’?
Jumping in and out of the boat with a big float on different reefs and bommies can be a real pain. The Reef Plus float comes into its own here, used with a HUNTMASTER Reef Floatline (8.5mm), it is easy to wrap up, and chuck on deck then deploy at the next spot. Big enough to stop most fish you’re likely to encounter on a day to day diving and small enough to tow and pack up on the move, the Reef Plus float is the perfect wingman.
The thicker profile shape of the Reef Plus, when compared to the Reef float, makes it ideal for deep reefs and drop-offs where you are expecting to hit bigger fish, but still need the maneuverability of the Reef to get in and out of the boat regularly. The perfect crossover float that’s not a true bluewater float but more than enough for any reefie.
Additional D Rings:
The additional D Rings can be used to attach a flasher, stringer, whistle, drinking water or cray net and also to put extra hurt on the fish. By locking off the floatline to one of the front offset, D rings the hydrodynamic design of the Reef Plus is totally negated. WATCH THIS VIDEO TO SEE HOW THE FLOAT ACTS UNDER THIS TYPE OF USE.
Unique High Viz Colours:
These unique high viz colours can be mixed and matched with the Huntsman and Huntress wetsuits, rashguards, Harbinger camo masks, snorkels and Huntmaster float lines.
Even the purple floats and float lines can pair up nicely with the Blue Huntsman or Pink Huntress wetsuit, with slight shades of purple throughout the Harbinger Blue and Pink Camo!!!
These high viz colours are crucial for safety, ensuring divers are seen by other boats and fellow divers.
Design
HUNTMASTER has worked extensively with engineers and passionate spearos to provide the ultimate spearfishing float design. HUNTMASTER floats have been carefully crafted with the following design features;
- All HUNTMASTER floats are made using 0.9mm PVC, making them puncture-proof and abrasion-resistant, protecting the float from damage from fish fins, spear tips, knives and other sharp objects.
- Our floats are hydrodynamically engineered and handcrafted with an internal and external structural design that lessens drag in the water. This new technology ensures maximum comfort for the spearo, reducing exertion from dragging heavy floats and improving overall dive time.
- Unlike other spearfishing floats, HUNTMASTER float designs are innovatively shaped. Our floats do not require additional lead weights to be added for the flag to remain upright.
- Structural design and dimensions of medium HUNTMASTER floats allow for ~ 33kgs* (75lbs) of lift ~ 20m depth. This is achieved by pressurizing the float up to 2 Atmospheres (ATM) (29 lbs PSI).
- Our floats come in a variety of high visibility colours ensuring that you are seen by other boats and fellow divers, which is crucial for safety.

- Three heavy-duty handles (2 sides and one rear). HUNTMASTER handles are designed with strength and durability in mind, giving spearos the assurance that they won’t fail under extreme pressure when game fish take your speargun and float.
- Comes with five thick, marine-grade, large stainless D rings. The additional D rings provide the spearo with options in stopping fish.
- Valve adaptor assembly, repair kit and wrench

How Products are Shipped
Orders are sent via Australia Express Post, Couriers Please, Startrack and Australia Post.
PO Box and Parcel Locker addresses are shipped via Australia Post; however, We cannot ship large items to these addresses, so you will need to provide a residential or business address.
All smaller items and as many as possible are sent via Australia Express Post for a speedy delivery.

Due to the increased freight costs, some large items incur an extra shipping fee in addition to the Flat rate shipping cost.

Shipping Time Frame
All orders are usually shipped the same day if ordered before 12 pm or 1-3 days after the initial purchase. At DGA, We only use reputable couriers that offer excellent service and fast delivery. Rural locations may take longer to arrive.

In rural and remote parts of Australia, shipping will depend on the availability of our shipping companies that can transport your goods to you. We always choose the fastest way possible.
Please note our flat rate of $20 is based on delivery to mainland Australia. Some Rural parts of Australia, Offshore islands and Territories of Australia may incur additional postage costs due to the remote location, which means our DGA Customer Service team will contact you or the extra shipping costs.

Hassle-Free Easy 30-Day Returns Policy
We understand that the product that you have purchased may not suit or fit you. For us to best assist you in preparing for a return or exchange, please read the following information carefully before returning a product.
DGA Dive Gear Australia offers you a 30-day exchange policy on most products within Australia for all goods that are unused and in a saleable condition. This means:
Eligibility Conditions
- The product and packaging are undamaged, unworn, unmarked and where applicable with tags still attached.
- Must include all packing material, manuals, blank warranty cards, and accessories.
- If you believe your product is faulty, please refer to the faulty items section below.
- Dive Gear Australia is not responsible for misuse of products or poor treatment of goods including proper care and servicing or equipment on time.
- Claims for missing items or items damaged in transit must be received within 7 business days of receipt of merchandise.
If a product comes back and meets the standards above, we will offer you an exchange for a different size or a product of the same value.
If a product is returned to us that has been worn, used in water or is damaged, Your return may not be accepted and the goods shipped back to you at your expense.

Return and Exchange Shipping
Unless an item is defective, If you need to exchange or return an incorrect product, please send the item back with a copy of your invoice and any instructions or information we might need. Our customer service team will contact you as soon as we receive the goods for any charges and the cost of the return freight.

Clearance and Non-returnable Items
Special order merchandise or any item indicated on the website as non-returnable is as such.
Clearance items are not refundable and may not be returned unless there is a clear warranty issue or fault with the product. We will exchange as long as stock is available of the same item.
Refund and Credits
Please allow up to 14 days for a credit to appear on your account from the received date. We will issue your refund in the same way you made the original purchase, minus the original cost of shipping.
