Cressi Tao semi-dry snorkel
The Cressi Tao ES260 is a semi-dry snorkel for relaxed surface swimming and use alongside scuba equipment. A shaped splash guard limits spray entering the top, while the flexible lower section lets the mouthpiece sit naturally without the upper tube tugging at your jaw.
Features and benefits
- Splash-control top: The profiled guard deflects splashes while leaving the airway open. It does not seal when submerged.
- Flexible silicone connection: The corrugated lower tube moves with the mouthpiece and drops aside when you release it to use a regulator.
- Replaceable silicone mouthpiece: The angled bite gives you a soft contact surface and can be replaced when worn.
- Lower purge and adjustable keeper: Exhale to push collected water through the bottom valve. The quick-release keeper lets you adjust the height and detach the snorkel for packing.
Fit and use
Set the keeper so the mouthpiece reaches your mouth without stretching the flexible section. This is the Tao semi-dry model; the separately named Tao Dry uses a different top.
Use the snorkel for breathing at the surface with its opening above the water. Clear any water before taking your next breath; a snorkel does not supply air while submerged.

Care and storage
Flush the tube and mouthpiece with fresh water after use, including the splash guard and lower purge valve. Let it air-dry in the shade and store it away from heat and direct sunlight. Check the mouthpiece, keeper and valve for wear or trapped sand before each swim.
