Mask features

The Cressi F-Dual is a single-lens frameless mask for snorkelling and diving. Its silicone skirt bonds directly to the tempered-glass window, keeping the design simple and compact.

• Single tempered-glass window gives an open view without a centre divider.
• Double-feathered silicone edge provides flexible contact around the face.
• Skirt-mounted quick-adjust buckles allow small strap adjustments.
• Wide split strap spreads contact across the back of the head.

Snorkel features

• Splash-control top: The profiled guard deflects splashes while leaving the airway open. It does not seal when submerged.
• Flexible silicone connection: The corrugated lower tube moves with the mouthpiece and drops aside when you release it to use a regulator.
• Replaceable silicone mouthpiece: The angled bite gives you a soft contact surface and can be replaced when worn.
• Lower purge and adjustable keeper: Exhale to push collected water through the bottom valve. The quick-release keeper lets you adjust the height and detach the snorkel for packing.

Mask size and fit guidance

Face width, shape and nose-pocket comfort determine mask fit. A small, medium, large or youth label is a starting guide only. Keep hair clear of the skirt and use light strap tension; do not overtighten a mask to compensate for a poor fit.

Snorkel fit and use

Set the keeper so the mouthpiece reaches your mouth without stretching the flexible section. This is the Tao semi-dry model; the separately named Tao Dry uses a different top.

Use the snorkel for breathing at the surface with its opening above the water. Clear any water before taking your next breath; a snorkel does not supply air while submerged.

Buying for someone else

If this is a gift, ask about the wearer’s current mask fit and allow time to check the seal and mouthpiece comfort before the first trip. Mask size and mouthpiece comfort need separate checks. Our Hallam team can help compare suitable shapes.

Care and storage

Rinse in fresh water after use, including the buckles, then let the mask dry in the shade. Store it in a protective case without crushing the skirt. Follow the supplied instructions for lens preparation and anti-fog treatment, especially for coated lenses. Avoid abrasive cleaners, toothpaste and flame treatment.

Flush the snorkel, mouthpiece and any valves with fresh water after use. Remove trapped sand and let the equipment dry in the shade before storage.
