Atomic Aquatics SV2 semi-dry snorkel
The Atomic Aquatics SV2 combines a semi-dry top with an internal Scupper Valve system that moves incoming water towards the lower purge. Its flexible neck and adjustable mouthpiece make it a considered choice for scuba surface swims and snorkelling.
Features and benefits
- Vented semi-dry top: Horizontal vanes break up incoming splashes and help divert water away from the breathing tube. The top does not seal when submerged.
- Scupper Valve drainage: An internal passage channels water past the mouthpiece towards the lower purge outlet for clearing.
- Dual-silicone mouthpiece: Two silicone stiffnesses support the bite while keeping the contact area soft. A rotating ratchet lets you adjust its angle.
- Posi-lock flex connection: The flexible lower section lets the mouthpiece drop aside when released, making room for your regulator.
- Adjustable quick disconnect: The mask keeper slides to set the height and rotates through 30 degrees to help position the snorkel.
Fit and use
Set the keeper height and mouthpiece angle before swimming, then check that your bite feels relaxed.
Use the snorkel for breathing at the surface with its opening above the water. Clear any water before taking your next breath; a snorkel does not supply air while submerged.

Care and storage
Flush the tube and mouthpiece with fresh water after use, including the splash guard and lower purge valve. Let it air-dry in the shade and store it away from heat and direct sunlight. Check the mouthpiece, keeper and valve for wear or trapped sand before each swim.
