Aqualung HydroFlex 3mm Wetsuit Men's Blue
The HydroFlex is a flexible 3mm suit for warm-water diving and snorkelling. Its flatlock seams and V-shaped collar keep the design simple and comfortable, with a mesh-skin chest panel and printed shoulder reinforcement for regular use.
Features and Benefits
- Fabric-lined construction: Fabric on the inside gives the neoprene a more forgiving contact surface when dressing and removing the suit. Ease the panels into place rather than pulling hard on a seam.
- Flexible panels: Stretch in the material helps the suit follow shoulder, hip and knee movement. This supports reaching equipment and swimming when the suit is correctly sized.
- Flatlock seams: The low-profile stitched joins sit comfortably against the body and allow flexibility at the panels. This construction suits lighter coverage and does not seal water out of the joins.
- Water control at the openings: Smooth wrist and ankle seals. A close seal reduces the repeated replacement of warmed water with colder water. Check that the seals sit flat and overlap properly with the rest of your exposure gear.
- Reinforcement: Powertex knee panels. These panels help resist everyday rubbing at contact points without requiring the whole suit to use the same tougher outer material.
- Computer positioning: Printed wrist traction area. This helps the strap stay positioned as you move. Check strap adjustment as the neoprene compresses underwater.

Fit and Sizing
Compare your chest, waist, hips and height with the model’s size guide. The suit should sit closely without restricting breathing or shoulder movement. Settle the panels into place and check for excessive gaps or folds before deciding on a size. Match the thickness and coverage to the water conditions, activity and your own comfort. Warmth depends on fit, exposure time and the rest of your exposure gear.

Gear Care and Washing
Dive Gear Australia recommends Cressi Neoclean Wetsuit Wash or Revivex Wetsuit Shampoo for compatible neoprene. Regular cleaning helps remove salt, chlorine and everyday residue and, together with thorough drying and proper storage, helps extend your gear’s life. Use the label dilution and follow this product’s care instructions.
After every use, rinse the suit inside and out in cool fresh water to remove salt, chlorine, sand and other residue. Gently hand wash when needed using a wetsuit cleaner suitable for the material, following the cleaner’s dilution instructions and the garment care label. Rinse thoroughly after washing.
Let both sides dry completely in the shade with good airflow. Support the suit on a broad wetsuit hanger, or drape it over a wide support to avoid stretching the shoulders. Store clean and dry in a cool place away from direct sunlight, heaters, hot cars and sharp folds.
Handle smooth seals and inner surfaces gently. Avoid scraping, scrubbing, fingernails and jewellery, and do not stretch a seal by pulling on a small section of it.
Do not machine wash, tumble dry, iron, bleach or use solvents. Follow the supplied care instructions for this suit and its zip before using any cleaning or maintenance product.
