The women’s Aqualung Fitflex is a two-piece 3 mm wetsuit with a separate jacket and trousers. The stretch neoprene supports movement, while the connection between the pieces helps limit water movement at the waist.
Features and Benefits
- Fabric-lined construction: Fabric on the inside gives the neoprene a more forgiving contact surface when dressing and removing the suit. Ease the panels into place rather than pulling hard on a seam.
- Water control at the openings: Smooth-skin seals and embossed waist connection. A close seal reduces the repeated replacement of warmed water with colder water. Check that the seals sit flat and overlap properly with the rest of your exposure gear.
- Reinforcement: Powertex knees. These panels help resist everyday rubbing at contact points without requiring the whole suit to use the same tougher outer material.

Fit and Sizing
Compare your chest, waist, hips and height with the model’s size guide. The suit should sit closely without restricting breathing or shoulder movement. Settle the panels into place and check for excessive gaps or folds before deciding on a size. Match the thickness and coverage to the water conditions, activity and your own comfort. Warmth depends on fit, exposure time and the rest of your exposure gear.
Gear Care and Washing
Dive Gear Australia recommends Cressi Neoclean Wetsuit Wash or Revivex Wetsuit Shampoo for compatible neoprene. Regular cleaning helps remove salt, chlorine and everyday residue and, together with thorough drying and proper storage, helps extend your gear’s life. Use the label dilution and follow this product’s care instructions.
After every use, rinse the suit inside and out in cool fresh water to remove salt, chlorine, sand and other residue. Gently hand wash when needed using a wetsuit cleaner suitable for the material, following the cleaner’s dilution instructions and the garment care label. Rinse thoroughly after washing.
Let both sides dry completely in the shade with good airflow. Support the suit on a broad wetsuit hanger, or drape it over a wide support to avoid stretching the shoulders. Store clean and dry in a cool place away from direct sunlight, heaters, hot cars and sharp folds.
Handle smooth seals and inner surfaces gently. Avoid scraping, scrubbing, fingernails and jewellery, and do not stretch a seal by pulling on a small section of it.
Do not machine wash, tumble dry, iron, bleach or use solvents. Follow the supplied care instructions for this suit and its zip before using any cleaning or maintenance product.
