Surface GPS, a digital compass and vibration alerts add navigation and notification functions. The gas-analysis module is included, but its oxygen sensor cell must be purchased separately.

The DSX supports open-circuit, closed-circuit and sidemount configurations. A colour screen, digital compass and configurable alarms combine with wireless cylinder-pressure monitoring.
