How to measure

Waterproof body measuring points — Open full-size measuring guide

Ask someone to help. Stand upright, look forward and keep your feet flat on the floor. Use a soft tape held close to the body without pulling it tight.
Height, head and neck: use the measuring points in Waterproof’s diagram.
Chest or bust: measure around the fullest part, keeping the tape level.
Waist: measure around your natural waist between your ribs and hips.
Hips: measure around the widest part with your feet together.
Neck to crotch: follow the body from the prominent bone at the back/base of your neck to the centre of the crotch.
Neck to wrist: measure from the same neck point, over the shoulder and along the arm to the wrist.
Inside leg: measure crotch to ankle for a wetsuit; crotch to floor for a drysuit. Use the matching row in the table.

All body measurements are in centimetres. Select the correct standard, tall or plus fit. For a drysuit, allow room for your usual undergarments; ask us if you are between sizes.

The Waterproof WP Skin men’s Lycra suit provides lightweight full-body coverage for warm-water diving, snorkelling and swimming. Its superstretch fabric moves easily with you, and it can also help a wetsuit slide on over the top when worn as a thin base layer.

Features and benefits

Superstretch Lycra fabric: the flexible material follows the body closely for comfortable movement without the insulation or bulk of a neoprene wetsuit.
UPF 50+ fabric: provides ultraviolet protection to covered skin. The rating applies to the garment material; your head, hands and other exposed areas still need suitable sun protection.
Full-length coverage: long sleeves and legs create a fabric barrier that can reduce direct contact and rubbing in the water. Coverage does not guarantee protection from all marine stings.
Back-zip entry: the YKK Vislon zip makes the suit easier to put on and remove.
Thumb and foot loops: wide loops help prevent the sleeves and legs from riding up, including when pulling a wetsuit over the top.
Flatlock seams: low-profile joins with quality thread help the suit sit comfortably next to the skin.

Fit and use

Choose a close fit that allows comfortable breathing and movement. Lycra provides coverage with little thermal insulation; choose a neoprene wetsuit or appropriate thermal garment when additional warmth is needed.

Care

Rinse after use and dry out of direct sunlight. Follow the sewn-in care label for washing and keep hook-and-loop fasteners away from the stretch fabric.
