How to measure
- Ask someone to help. Stand upright, look forward and keep your feet flat on the floor. Use a soft tape held close to the body without pulling it tight.
- Height, head and neck: use the measuring points in Waterproof’s diagram.
- Chest or bust: measure around the fullest part, keeping the tape level.
- Waist: measure around your natural waist between your ribs and hips.
- Hips: measure around the widest part with your feet together.
- Neck to crotch: follow the body from the prominent bone at the back/base of your neck to the centre of the crotch.
- Neck to wrist: measure from the same neck point, over the shoulder and along the arm to the wrist.
- Inside leg: measure crotch to ankle for a wetsuit; crotch to floor for a drysuit. Use the matching row in the table.
All body measurements are in centimetres. Select the correct standard, tall or plus fit. For a drysuit, allow room for your usual undergarments; ask us if you are between sizes.

Follow the numbered diagram: 2 head circumference; 3 neck; 4 chest; 5 waist; 6 widest hip circumference. Measure 7 from the prominent bone at the base of the back of your neck (C7) to the centre of the crotch, following the diagram; measure 8 from the same neck point across the shoulder to the wrist with your arm out. For 9a, measure crotch to floor for a drysuit; for 9b, measure crotch to ankle for a wetsuit. Use the matching row for your suit type and take measurements in centimetres.

Waterproof SD Neoflex 7mm Semi-Dry Wetsuit
The Waterproof SD Neoflex 7mm semi-dry wetsuit combines a flexible dry zip with soft stretch neoprene and double seals to reduce cold-water flushing. This men’s suit is worth considering when you want the close fit of a wetsuit with a more substantial sealing arrangement for cooler dives.
Features and benefits
- 7mm Neoflex insulation: microcell limestone CR neoprene, a shaped cut and Wave Flex panels let you move naturally while retaining a substantial insulating layer.
- YKK AQUASEAL #10 dry zip: the flexible horizontal back zip provides a water-tight main closure when correctly closed and maintained. A neoprene cover protects it and a Chill Guard panel adds cushioning and insulation behind it.
- Double Glideskin seals: the wrist and ankle seals restrict water exchange. Outer cuff zips make dressing easier and allow a neat connection with suitable boots and gloves.
- EXTEND thermal lining: the soft stretch interior adds comfort and insulation without preventing the neoprene from flexing.
- Gusseted neck comfort zip: relieves pressure at the collar on the surface; close it before diving.
- Useful storage: two stretchy hip pockets have zips, drainage and internal loops for items such as an SMB or spare mask.
- Durable knees, elbows and seat: flexible aramid knee panels and Duratex reinforcement protect high-wear areas. Polyurethane shoulder and waist print adds grip for your equipment.
- Computer anchors on both arms: retain the strap as neoprene compresses, with anti-slip surfaces to help reduce movement.
What semi-dry means
The sealed main zip and close-fitting cuffs reduce water exchange, but this remains a neoprene semi-dry suit. Water can enter at the neck and seals; it is not a substitute for a drysuit and drysuit undergarments.

Fit and use
Use the Waterproof size chart and your measurements to choose a close fit with comfortable breathing and movement. Check the neck, wrists and ankles for gaps. Water temperature, dive length, depth and your own cold tolerance all affect the insulation you need.
More About This Model
The flexible YKK AQUASEAL dryzip works with your movements, and shaped arms and legs make reaching, swimming and moving around your equipment feel more natural. A separate neck comfort zip provides relief between dives.
Practical storage and reinforced wear areas make this a well-equipped suit for regular diving.
Gear Care and Washing
After every use, rinse the suit inside and out in cool fresh water to remove salt, chlorine, sand and other residue. Gently hand wash when needed using mild soap or a cleaner specifically authorised by Waterproof. Rinse thoroughly after washing.
Let both sides dry completely in the shade with good airflow. Support the suit on a broad wetsuit hanger, or drape it over a wide support to avoid stretching the shoulders. Store clean and dry in a cool place away from direct sunlight, heaters, hot cars and sharp folds.
Rinse sand and salt from the zip and close hook-and-loop tabs so they cannot snag the fabric. Never force a jammed zip. Use only the zip maker’s specified lubricant and storage position; ordinary wax or silicone is not suitable for every specialist zip.
Do not machine wash, tumble dry, iron, bleach or use solvents. Follow the supplied care instructions for this suit and its zip before using any cleaning or maintenance product.
