Care and Installation

Before fitting the battery cap, inspect the cap and battery-compartment sealing surfaces for sand, hair, salt crystals or other debris. Check that the correct O-ring is clean, undamaged and lightly lubricated with the manufacturer-recommended silicone grease.

Tighten the cap according to the strobe manufacturer’s instructions. Avoid cross-threading or overtightening, as this may damage the cap, threads or sealing surfaces. Always perform a careful leak check before taking the strobe to depth.

Important Information
