OceanPro Corsair II BCD Size Guide
Size guide based on OceanPro sizing information for the Corsair II BCD. Use height, weight, chest and waist as a starting point, then check the harness over the exposure suit you will dive in. The BCD should stay secure while allowing comfortable breathing and movement.
How to measure
- Height: measure barefoot from the floor to the top of your head.
- Weight: use your body weight in kilograms.
- Chest: measure around the fullest part, keeping the tape level.
- Waist: measure around the fullest part of your waist, keeping the tape level without pulling it tight.

Oceanpro Corsair II BCD with Altair
The Oceanpro Corsair II pairs its O-Flex rear-inflation bladder with padded back support, swivel shoulder buckles and integrated weights. This version comes factory-fitted with the Altair combined inflator and alternate air source.
Comfort and adjustment
- O-Flex rear-inflation bladder: keeps the front of the BCD open and streamlined.
- Padded back support: cushions the cylinder load.
- Quick-release swivel shoulder buckles: allow the straps to settle around the shoulders.
- Depth-compensating cummerbund and waist buckle: help maintain a secure fit as an exposure suit compresses.
- Secure Snap-Lock weight system: integrates quick-release weight pockets.
- Two trim-weight pockets: support ballast positioning near the cylinder.
- Two shoulder dumps and one lower rear dump: offer deflation options for different positions.

Altair included
The factory-fitted Altair combines the BCD inflator and an alternate second stage in one unit. Its downstream demand valve has Venturi assistance, with accessible inflation controls and a bottom-mounted soft-touch purge. This configuration reduces the need for a separate traditional octopus hose.
Use an air-sharing procedure appropriate to an integrated alternate air source and practise it with your instructor and buddy. Have a qualified technician check the complete regulator configuration before use.

The BCD should hold your cylinder securely without restricting breathing or movement. Care, rinsing and storage
After every dive, rinse the BCD, harness, buckles and accessible fittings with fresh water. Follow Oceanpro’s instructions for the fitted inflation system, including keeping the power inflator or Altair pressurised where specified.
For routine cleaning, Gear Aid Revivex BC Cleaner can help remove salt and residue. Use the label dilution and the BCD manual’s internal rinsing procedure. Drain thoroughly, dry in the shade and store slightly inflated without tight folds or heavy equipment on top.
Before diving, check that the BCD holds air and that the inflator, dump valves, straps and weight releases operate correctly. Follow the manufacturer’s service schedule and have leaks, damage or sticking controls checked by an authorised technician.
