Oceanic Viper 2 Dive Fins – Open Heel
The Oceanic Viper 2 Open Heel fins pair a broad blade with an adjustable boot-fitting pocket. Their central channel and side rails guide water along the blade, while quick-release buckles help with putting the fins on and taking them off.
Features and benefits
- Flexible Power Thrust Channel: channels water towards the blade tip during the kick.
- Performance side rails: support the blade and help control sideways water spill.
- Open-heel foot pocket: designed around suitable dive boots.
- Easy-adjust, quick-release buckles: let you adjust the heel strap and release it for removal.

Choosing your Viper 2 size
Choose from the four open-heel size options shown on this product. The Viper 2 Full Foot is a different model with a different size chart; its seven-size or full-foot conversions should not be used for these fins. Contact us with your foot length in cm and the brand, size and thickness of your dive boots if you need help choosing.
These are open-heel fins for use with dive boots. Boot thickness, sole shape and foot width affect the fit, so try the fin with the actual boots you will wear. The heel strap should hold the boot securely without forcing your toes against the end of the pocket. Boots are sold separately with the standalone fins.
To measure your feet, place paper against a wall, stand with your heel gently against the wall and mark your longest toe. Measure from the wall to the mark in centimetres. Repeat for the other foot and use the longer measurement. Where a model has no foot-length chart, contact us with that measurement and your usual shoe size rather than using another fin model’s chart.
Prefer fins for bare feet? See the Oceanic Viper 2 Full Foot fins.
Care and storage
Rinse in fresh water after use and remove sand from the foot pockets and adjustments. Dry in the shade before storing away from heat and direct sunlight. Store blades flat without bending them or placing heavy items on top. Check straps and buckles before your next swim.
