The Mares Avanti Quattro 4X combines a three-material blade with four flexible channels and an open-heel pocket for dive boots. The reinforced lower pocket, soft upper section and side ribs support a controlled fin stroke.

This is the Mares 2026 guide for the Avanti Quattro 4X and Quattro+. JP values are the manufacturer’s centimetre sizing reference, not internal pocket measurements. Fit the fins with the boots you intend to wear; boot thickness and sole shape affect the fit.

To measure your feet, place paper against a wall, stand with your heel gently against the wall and mark your longest toe. Measure from the wall to the mark in centimetres. Repeat for the other foot and use the longer measurement. Where a model has no foot-length chart, contact us with that measurement and your usual shoe size rather than using another fin model’s chart.

Size charts are a guide only; individual fit varies with foot shape. Check both feet and try the fins with any socks you intend to use. The pocket should hold the foot securely without curled toes, pinching or excessive movement. If you are between sizes, ask our Hallam team for fitting help.

Blade length and weight describe the equipment; they are not foot-length measurements. Colour and size availability are shown in the selector.

Care and storage

Rinse in fresh water after use and remove sand from the foot pockets and adjustments. Dry in the shade before storing away from heat and direct sunlight. Store blades flat without bending them or placing heavy items on top. Check straps and buckles before your next swim.

Rural, remote & offshore: rural means anywhere outside metropolitan areas. Carrier availability and additional charges may apply, including for island and territory destinations. Our team will contact you if an extra freight quote is needed.
