Cressi Diver Wetsuit Junior 5mm
The Diver Junior is a 5mm hooded one-piece suit with a front opening and ankle zips. Its lined neoprene and pre-shaped legs make changing and swimming practical, while reinforcement protects the knees during everyday dive use.
Features and Benefits
- Fabric-lined construction: Fabric on the inside gives the neoprene a more forgiving contact surface when dressing and removing the suit. Ease the panels into place rather than pulling hard on a seam.
- Practical entry: Front zip and ankle zips. Open the entry fully before changing and settle the panels into place before closing it. A backing flap or internal barrier, where fitted, interrupts the direct path of water through the zip.
- Reinforcement: Reinforced knees. These panels help resist everyday rubbing at contact points without requiring the whole suit to use the same tougher outer material.
- Head coverage: One-piece with integrated hood. A properly fitted hood continues the insulation around the head and neck; settle the face opening comfortably without folding the seal.

Fit and Sizing
Compare current body weight in kilograms and barefoot height in centimetres with the junior full-suit size guide. The suit should sit closely without restricting breathing or shoulder movement. Settle the panels into place and check for excessive gaps or folds before deciding on a size. Approximate ages are 3XS: 8–9 years, 2XS: 10–11 years and XS: 12–13 years. Use the junior measurements and chart below; age alone does not determine fit. Match the thickness and coverage to the water conditions, activity and your own comfort. Warmth depends on fit, exposure time and the rest of your exposure gear.
More About This Model
Traditional all-in-one suit for dives in warm waters, straight forward to put on and take off, designed to offer great freedom of movement. The legs are pre-shaped to allow the natural, typical bending of the limbs when swimming. The front zip stretches from the waist to the right cheek. A smooth neoprene seal runs along the edge of the facial profile of the hood, thus limiting water infiltration and increasing comfort.
Frontal zip with flat water-reducing system + flat Acquastop©. It limits the water flow at this delicate point.
Powertex© elastic reinforcements on knees and buttocks.
All zips are YKK© 8 pitch, with a reinforced stainless steel cursor handle for greater resistance and a safety blocking system.
Double- quick dry nylon fabric, especially elastic.
Gear Care and Washing
Dive Gear Australia recommends Cressi Neoclean Wetsuit Wash or Revivex Wetsuit Shampoo for compatible neoprene. Regular cleaning helps remove salt, chlorine and everyday residue and, together with thorough drying and proper storage, helps extend your gear’s life. Use the label dilution and follow this product’s care instructions.
After every use, rinse the suit inside and out in cool fresh water to remove salt, chlorine, sand and other residue. Gently hand wash when needed using a wetsuit cleaner suitable for the material, following the cleaner’s dilution instructions and the garment care label. Rinse thoroughly after washing.
Let both sides dry completely in the shade with good airflow. Support the suit on a broad wetsuit hanger, or drape it over a wide support to avoid stretching the shoulders. Store clean and dry in a cool place away from direct sunlight, heaters, hot cars and sharp folds.
Rinse sand and salt from the zip and close hook-and-loop tabs so they cannot snag the fabric. Never force a jammed zip. Use only the zip maker’s specified lubricant and storage position; ordinary wax or silicone is not suitable for every specialist zip.
Do not machine wash, tumble dry, iron, bleach or use solvents. Follow the supplied care instructions for this suit and its zip before using any cleaning or maintenance product.
