Cressi Chrome 52mm Tech SPG 300 Bar
The Cressi Chrome 52 mm Tech SPG provides cylinder-pressure information on a separate analogue dial. Its black face and brass-and-glass construction suit divers who want a compact pressure instrument positioned within easy reach on their regulator set.
Features and benefits
- 52 mm viewing face. The dial gives you a clear area to locate the needle and read cylinder pressure without a larger console.
- Chrome-plated brass body. The plated metal housing provides a robust instrument case for normal diving use and careful transport.
- Tempered-glass lens. The hard glass viewing surface protects the dial from everyday contact. Keep it away from loose weights and other hard equipment when packed.
- Independent pressure indication. The analogue display reads through an HP connection without relying on a dive-computer battery or transmitter link.
Setup and compatibility
The gauge has a 300 bar working-pressure rating and a 0–360 bar scale. The additional scale markings do not increase its working-pressure limit. Match the HP hose, swivel and seals to the gauge and have the assembly installed and leak-checked by a qualified technician. Set the hose length and retention so you can read the dial without straining the connection.
Care, rinsing and storage
After each dive, rinse the gauge and hose thoroughly with fresh water. Keep the complete regulator assembled, connected to a secured dive cylinder and pressurised while washing and rinsing, with the stages, gauge and connected hoses submerged. This helps keep water out of the pressure system. Lift the equipment out and dry the cylinder connection before depressurising and disconnecting; fit the first stage’s clean, dry dust cap.
Let the equipment dry in the shade, then store it with the hose in a relaxed curve. Protect the instrument from impacts and avoid lifting the regulator or cylinder by the gauge hose. Before diving, inspect the lens, hose and fittings, check for leaks and confirm that the needle responds normally and returns to zero when fully depressurised. Have damage, internal moisture or an unreliable reading checked by an authorised technician.
