The Cressi Back Weight Vest adds six weight pockets to a neoprene vest for freediving and spearfishing. Its adjustable fit and quick-release buckles help position the vest on your upper body, giving you another option when arranging your weighting system.

The Cressi Back Weight Vest carries ballast across your back, giving another position for compatible dive weights when setting up your equipment. It is worn over the wetsuit, with adjustable shoulder straps to refine the fit.

Features and benefits

Six separate pockets: let you distribute suitable ballast across the vest.
Pre-compressed neoprene: limits changes in the vest material’s buoyancy as it compresses.
Adjustable straps and release buckles: help you fit and remove the vest.

Fit and weight distribution

Try the vest over your exposure suit and check the adjustment and release access with your belt and other equipment in place. Choose total ballast and its distribution according to your training and conditions. A vest’s maximum capacity is not a recommended amount to wear, and there is no fixed vest-to-belt weight ratio suitable for every diver.

Care, rinsing and storage

Remove the weights and rinse the vest, pockets, straps and releases in fresh water after use. Clear sand from the closures and dry in the shade. Store without weights loading the fabric or stitching. Check the seams, pocket retention and releases before diving.

Rural, remote & offshore: rural means anywhere outside metropolitan areas. Carrier availability and additional charges may apply, including for island and territory destinations. Our team will contact you if an extra freight quote is needed.

Contact us within 30 days of delivery to request a refund, exchange or optional store credit on eligible unused goods within Australia. Refunds go to the original payment method. Keep goods clean and undamaged with tags, original packaging and all accessories. No restocking fee applies to eligible returns meeting these conditions.

For change-of-mind returns and size exchanges, you pay return postage and replacement shipping. Original delivery charges are not refunded. Water-tested goods, clearly marked clearance items and genuinely custom-made or personalised items are excluded from change-of-mind returns. Ordinary discounted goods remain eligible.
