Mostly Clear UV-AR Lenses for Natural Underwater Vision

Apollo’s bio-UV-AR lenses combine ultraviolet filtering with an anti-reflective coating. Each function serves a different purpose:

• UV filtering reduces ultraviolet light passing through the lenses.
• Anti-reflective coating minimises reflections on the glass surfaces, helping preserve a clear view.
• Natural colour transmission supports faithful viewing of underwater subjects.

The lenses have a mostly clear appearance, with subtle surface reflections that can vary with the lighting and viewing angle. This makes them particularly appealing to divers who value natural-looking vision when observing marine life or composing underwater photographs.

Precision-Machined Stainless-Steel Frame

The Bio Metal Pro frame is machined from a single stainless-steel plate and individually hand-polished by skilled craftspeople in Japan. Its slim profile and narrow central bridge help minimise frame obstruction between the two lenses.

Dark Chrome, Premium Gold and Titanium Brown finishes give the mask its distinctive appearance, pairing polished metal with a black silicone skirt.

The stainless-steel frame also adds purposeful weight. It is designed to help counteract the upward lift created by air inside the mask, supporting a balanced feel underwater.

Regular Type-C fit and surgical-grade silicone

The Type-C skirt has an internal volume of 110 cc and is the regular-fit option. Its soft surgical-grade silicone skirt flexes against your face, while the accessible nose pocket helps with equalisation. Check the seal and comfort around your nose and cheeks before choosing your mask.

The Type-C lens position is angled slightly upwards to support forward visibility while swimming. A matte finish on the inside and outside of the black skirt helps reduce unwanted reflections.

Mask fit is individual, so checking the seal against your face is the best way to choose the right fit.

Optical coating performance

The hard multilayer lens coating reduces visible-light reflection to less than 0.5% per surface. That means fewer distracting reflections in the glass when using a dive light and easier eye contact with your buddy.

Care and storage

Rinse with fresh water after each use and flush away sand before touching the lenses. Use a soft cloth only after grit has been removed. Avoid abrasive cleaners or polishing the coated lens surfaces. Let the mask dry out of direct sunlight and store it with the skirt and strap relaxed.

Adjustable split silicone strap

The wide, split rear section spreads contact across the back of your head and helps keep the strap in place. Adjust the side buckles for a secure, comfortable fit without pulling the skirt tight against your face.
