Apeks VX1 Mask – Pure Clear lens
The Apeks VX1 Pure Clear combines an open single-lens view with a compact frameless body. The silicone skirt uses matte and gloss areas to balance support and facial contact, while quick-release buckles with stainless-steel rollers make strap adjustment straightforward. This Pure Clear listing includes a silicone strap, an additional neoprene strap and a zipped EVA case, giving you a choice of strap feel for your dive kit.
Features and benefits
- Single Pure Clear lens: Choose this specific lens version in a broad, uninterrupted viewing window.
- Frameless low-volume profile: Keeps the mask compact for diving and travel.
- Matte and gloss silicone: Combines flexible contact areas with support around the mask.
- Quick-release roller buckles: Allow controlled adjustment, including when wearing gloves.
- Two supplied straps and case: The silicone strap, additional neoprene strap and reusable EVA case make storage and fit changes convenient.
Size and fit
Compare the skirt shape, nose pocket and brow clearance against your own face. A model name, colour or intended activity alone cannot confirm the seal.
Keep hair clear of the sealing edge and hold the mask gently against your face. Check even contact at the cheeks and forehead, plus comfortable access to your nose. Use light strap tension; overtightening can distort the skirt rather than correct the wrong shape. If you wear a hood, check the fit with it in place.
What’s included
One VX1 Pure Clear mask with silicone strap, additional neoprene strap and zipped EVA protective case. The other lens version is sold separately.

Care and storage
Rinse the mask in fresh water after every outing, flushing salt and grit from the skirt, strap and buckles. Use mild liquid soap only where the mask manufacturer allows it, then rinse thoroughly. Dry in the shade and store with the lens protected and the skirt relaxed. Check the strap and sealing edge before use. Avoid abrasives, toothpaste and flame treatments.
For standard uncoated mask glass, TUSA TEC52 anti-fog treatment is an option when used according to the mask and treatment instructions. Confirm compatibility before applying any cleaner or defogger to a prescription lens, coating or anti-fog film.
For the supplied neoprene strap, we recommend Cressi Neoclean Wetsuit Wash or Revivex Wetsuit Shampoo to clean compatible neoprene. Wash that component separately according to its care label and the cleaner’s dilution instructions, then rinse thoroughly and dry in the shade. These neoprene cleaners are not a recommendation for the mask lens or a regulator assembly.
