The Apeks SureLock Weight System adds two releasable weight pockets to a compatible WTX setup. Each pocket holds up to 10lb, approximately 4.5kg, with mounting hardware included. A separate SureLock attachment is required for mounting to a compatible backplate.

Apeks Surelock Weight System
This popular accessory is ideal when it becomes necessary to add additional weight to your rig. Apeks Surelock Weight System 2 x 10LB/4.5KG may be bolted to the WTX harness or to the SureLock™ Attachments. SureLock™ is the best mechanical weight release system in the industry today.
A simple click is all that is needed to engage the weights and a simple pull on the handle to release them.
The WTX and WTX-D Series is a selection of harnesses, buoyancy cells and accessories which offer unparalleled versatility due to the modular nature of the whole system. Each component can be configured into a highly technical rig for those trained to push the limits or scaled down to make a travel-friendly set-up suitable for any diver.
Surelock Weight System Features
- Bolts directly to the WTX Harness
- Can mount to a backplate with the use of the WT Surelock Weight System Attachment
- Includes necessary attachment hardware plus spares
- 2” stainless adjustable D-rings on the outside of each pocket
- Features the SureLock™ (patented) mechanical weight release buckles which prevent weights from releasing until you want them to
- Each pocket holds up to 10 lbs (4.5kg) of lead
- Includes attachment grommets to mount your choice of Aqua Lung knives
We dispatch orders five days a week, usually within 1–3 days. Standard mainland Australian shipping is $20. Click & Collect from our Hallam store is free once your order is ready.
- Large or bulky gear: additional freight charges apply on top of standard shipping: large dive bags $30; long freediving fins $15; long spearguns $20. Scuba tank freight is shown at checkout.
- Rural, remote & offshore: rural means anywhere outside metropolitan areas. Carrier availability and additional charges may apply, including for island and territory destinations. Our team will contact you if an extra freight quote is needed.

We offer a 30-day exchange on most unused products within Australia when they are in saleable condition with their original packaging and accessories.
