Compare the Karua’s fit and flexible 3/2 mm construction for your swimming conditions.
Open guideStart with the shape that seals comfortably on your face. Compact goggles sit around the eyes; swimming masks offer a wider skirt contact area. Adjust the nose bridge where provided, then use only enough strap tension to hold the seal in place.
| Model | Fit and construction | Useful difference |
|---|---|---|
| Nuoto 3.0 | Adult goggles; split silicone strap | Three interchangeable nose bridges; side buckles and strap retainers |
| Thunder | Adult goggles; flexible nose bridge | 18° inclined lenses; double silicone strap |
| Vortex | Adult goggles; co-moulded TPE and semi-rigid frame | Flexible bridge and slightly curved outer lens profile |
| Skylight | Adult swimming mask; silicone skirt and strap | Wide lenses with a 180° field of view |
| Planet | Adult swimming mask; silicone skirt and strap | Wide-view lenses with micrometric strap adjustment |
| Cobra | Adult swimming mask; soft TPR skirt | One-piece skirt with a flexible frame element |
Check the exact lens option and size chart on each product page. Chart dimensions describe the product; they do not guarantee a fit or measure your face.
Clear: a useful starting point for indoor pools, overcast days and lower-light swimming. Smoked: reduces visible light for brighter conditions. Mirrored: adds a reflective outer coating; choose it by the actual lens option, not by frame colour.
| Listed model | Lens choices |
|---|---|
| Skylight and Vortex | Clear, smoked and mirrored |
| Planet and Cobra | Clear and smoked |
| Nuoto 3.0 | Clear colour combinations; Black Mirrored |
| Thunder and King Baloo | Clear lenses in the listed frame colours |
| Rocks | Use the listed variant; no separate smoked or mirrored choice is identified on this listing |
For the smoked lens family used by Skylight, Planet, Cobra and Vortex, Cressi specifies acetate lenses, 25% visible-light transmission, filter category 2, optical class 1 and UV400 protection. These figures apply only to the smoked lens. Cressi identifies the Skylight and Vortex mirrored lens family as polycarbonate with optical class 1 and UV400 protection. Clear and mirrored transmission percentages are not confirmed for these models.
Anti-fog treatments help manage condensation; they do not replace careful lens handling. Do not apply lens figures from a different colour, lens family or model.
| Model | Construction | Size-chart reference |
|---|---|---|
| Rocks | Flexible TPR goggles; curved outer lens profile with a flat optical centre | A: 115 mm; B: 43 mm |
| King Baloo | Swimming mask with a single glass lens and reduced skirt | A: 130 mm; B: 64 mm |
The Rocks listing and chart use an approximate 7–13 age guide; Cressi’s current catalogue also uses a 7–15 heading. King Baloo is catalogued for approximately 7–15, while its chart says 7–13. Treat these as starting points and check the child’s actual face fit. Keep hair clear of the seal and adjust the strap gently for supervised swimming.
| Model | Foot pocket | Best starting point |
|---|---|---|
| Agua Short | Soft, self-adjusting full-foot pocket | Versatile pool, open-water, snorkelling and travel use |
| Light | Soft elastomer full-foot pocket | Lightweight short fins designed primarily for pool training |
| Pura | 100% silicone; open heel with integral silicone band | Bare-foot leg and ankle training, plus recreational swimming and snorkelling |
Use the exact model’s size selector and chart. The current Pura listing offers XS EU 35/38, S 38/40, M 40/43, L 43/45 and XL 45/47. Agua Short and Light use different size ranges and dimensions. Manufacturer A/B/C/D measurements describe the fin, not your foot length.
The pocket should hold your foot without curled toes, pinching or excessive movement. Check both feet and any thin socks you intend to wear. Ask our Hallam team for help if your measurements fall between sizes.
| Range | Construction | Intended use |
|---|---|---|
| Karua Man / Lady | 3 mm body; nylon lining on both sides; low 2 mm GlideSkin XT neck | Swimming, snorkelling and active watersports |
| Kuwae Man / Lady | 2 mm high-density Hyperstretch neoprene; smooth GlideSkin XT exterior; low neck | Open-water swimming |
Both ranges use a rear YKK zip with a corrosion-resistant metal slider, plus a small key pocket and name panel below the zip. Fluorescent details help the swimmer stand out at the surface. Choose thickness and coverage for your activity, conditions, time in the water and comfort.
Compare chest, waist, hips and height with the correct size guidance. A suit should fit closely without restricting breathing or shoulder movement. The attached adult charts are general references; ask us to confirm the exact model’s chart or garment hangtag before choosing a size. The 2 mm Swim Hood provides an additional coverage option with a stretch-fabric chin strap.
Eddie is the adult silicone cap and Ricky JR is the junior version. Cressi specifies stretch, hypoallergenic silicone designed to resist chlorine and ageing. Choose by head size and hair volume; a cap does not guarantee completely dry hair.
The Aqua Kit combines a nose clip, connected silicone ear plugs and storage case. Choose the Comfort Nose Clip or Dry Ear Plugs separately if you only need one accessory. Follow the supplied fitting instructions; these ear plugs are for surface swimming.
The Cressi Swim Buoy is a fluorescent-red surface tow marker with an internal storage compartment. Check its valve, closure, waist belt and tow strap before swimming. Protect water-sensitive valuables separately. A tow buoy does not replace a life jacket, swimming ability or suitable supervision.
Goggles and masks: rinse gently in cool fresh water. Do not rub the anti-fog surface or use abrasives, solvents or alcohol. Air-dry away from heat and protect the lenses in a case.
Fins and caps: rinse away chlorine, salt and sand, then dry in the shade. Keep fin blades flat and avoid sharp objects or fingernails against silicone.
Wetsuits and hood: rinse inside and out, use only a compatible wetsuit cleaner at the stated dilution, and dry both sides in the shade. Protect smooth surfaces from nails and jewellery, and follow the garment and zip care instructions.
