A single anti-fog insert for a large single-window mask

The TUSA TA0804 Freedom Film is shaped for compatible large, single-window dive masks. It attaches to the inner lens surface to help reduce fogging, with one continuous film supplied for the mask’s single lens.

How Freedom Film reduces fogging

Fog forms when warm, moist air inside your mask cools against the lens and turns into tiny water droplets. Those droplets scatter light and make the view look misty. Freedom Film uses a hydrophilic, or water-attracting, surface to encourage moisture to spread into a thin layer instead. The result is less fog to interrupt your view of marine life, your buddy or your instruments.

The transparent insert sits on the inside of the lens and can be used repeatedly with proper care. Start with a clean lens, fit the film as directed and rinse the mask with fresh water after diving. Oils and dirt can interfere with performance; keep the surface clean and avoid abrasive cleaners, toothpaste or flame treatment on the film. Choose the film shape for your exact mask model.

Check the model marking on your mask before choosing a Freedom Film insert. TA0804 is the large single-window version; other film models have different shapes and quantities.

Fitting and care

Clean the inside of the lens thoroughly before application. Centre the film, then work out air bubbles with a fingertip following TUSA’s instructions. The film is reusable with proper care, so follow the supplied cleaning guidance to protect its surface.
