Rob Allen White Tip snorkel
The Rob Allen White Tip is a simple semi-rigid snorkel for spearfishing and freediving. A large-bore open tube and soft silicone mouthpiece provide a straightforward setup for breathing at the surface between dives.
Features and benefits
- Semi-rigid tube: The tube holds its curved shape alongside your head while retaining some give.
- Large-bore airway: The broad tube provides an open breathing passage without a dry-top mechanism.
- Silicone mouthpiece: The soft bite gives your mouth a comfortable contact point; adjust the keeper so the tube is not under tension.
- Simple mask attachment: The figure-eight keeper holds the snorkel beside your mask strap and lets you set its height.
Fit and use
Check the mouthpiece against your bite and set the snorkel close to your head. An open tube admits water when submerged, so practise clearing it at the surface.
Use the snorkel for breathing at the surface with its opening above the water. Clear any water before taking your next breath; a snorkel does not supply air while submerged.
