Ocean Hunter Ambush PURE Foot Pockets are supplied as a pair with blade-fixing kits and rail-retaining clamps. Shortened side tendons leave more of a suitable blade free to work. Thermo-rubber construction and a range of sizes support fitting; fin blades are not included.

Ocean Hunter Ambush PURE replacement foot pockets, pair

The PURE pockets shorten the side tendons compared with the original Ambush arrangement. This leaves more of a suitable composite or carbon blade available to flex.

Match the blade dimensions and fixing interface before assembly. Select your pocket size with the socks you intend to wear. Fin blades are not included.

Size and fit

Try the pockets with your intended fin socks. Foot width, instep and sock thickness affect the fit. Lycra or 3 mm neoprene socks can help reduce rubbing; allow for their thickness. Your heel should stay secure without curled toes or pressure across the instep.

To measure your feet, place paper against a wall and stand with your heel gently touching the wall. Mark your longest toe and measure from the wall to the mark in centimetres. Measure both feet and use the longer measurement when asking us for fitting advice. A shoe-size label does not confirm the fit.

Care, rinsing and storage

Rinse the pockets and fixings in fresh water after use and remove trapped sand. Dry in the shade and store away from heat without crushing or stretching the rubber. Check for splits, worn retaining arms and loose fixings before diving. Follow the fitting instructions for your matched blade-and-pocket assembly.
