Cressi Moon Mask Size & Fit Guide
Read the Cressi diagram: Match the lettered rows to the illustration. Dimensions describe the mask, not the size of your face. Where shown, the nose-size scale is Cressi’s comparative reference, not millimetres. Use the chart as a starting point and check the fit on your face.
Check your dive-mask fit
- Keep hair and any hood clear of the sealing edge. Rest the mask on your face without pulling the strap behind your head.
- Inhale gently through your nose to check whether the skirt forms an even seal. Check for gaps at the temples, cheeks and upper lip.
- Check that the frame and nose pocket feel comfortable without pressing on the bridge of your nose. You should be able to reach the nose pocket comfortably.
- Adjust both sides of the strap evenly, using only enough tension to hold the mask in place. Tightening harder will not correct a poor seal shape.
- Recheck the seal with your snorkel or regulator mouthpiece in place and with gentle facial movement. If the shape is uncomfortable or will not seal, try another model.
For help choosing a mask shape, ask our Hallam team during business hours.

The Cressi Moon and Top Kids Snorkelling Set pairs a small children’s mask with a compact Top snorkel for supervised pool and surface-snorkelling sessions. The Moon has scratch-resistant lenses and fine-adjustment buckles, while the Top adds a splash guard, silicone mouthpiece and lower purge valve.
What is included?
A Cressi Moon mask and Top snorkel. Choose Clear/Blue, Blue/Lime or Pink/Lilac from the available options. Fins are not included.
Mask size guide and approximate age guide
Please check the Moon mask size guide chart and the approximate age guide before choosing. Cressi suggests approximately 5–10 years. This is a guide only, not a guaranteed fit. Children of the same age can have different face widths and shapes.
The chart shows the manufacturer’s mask and skirt reference dimensions; these are not a guaranteed range of face measurements. Check that the skirt sits comfortably around the face, with no gaps or pressure around the nose. Silicone can flex, but tightening the strap cannot make an unsuitable mask fit. The snorkel mouthpiece should sit comfortably without the child needing to clench it.
Buying as a gift? Use the fit guide rather than age alone. If you are unsure about the recipient’s mask or mouthpiece fit, contact Dive Gear Australia before choosing.
Features and benefits
- Scratch-resistant lenses: the Moon’s lens treatment helps protect the viewing surface during normal use; still keep it away from sand and abrasive cleaning.
- Soft silicone skirt: gives flexible contact for a comfortable face seal when correctly fitted.
- Micrometric mask buckles: allow small strap adjustments without relying on excessive tension.
- Splash-guard snorkel: the Top helps deflect surface spray while leaving an open airway. This is a semi-dry design, so the tube needs clearing if water enters.
- Lower purge valve: gives collected water a low exit point to assist clearing.
- Junior mouthpiece and adjustable keeper: soft silicone contact and a height-adjustable mask attachment help position the snorkel comfortably.

Getting started
Children need active adult supervision in the water. Practise fitting the mask, breathing comfortably and clearing the snorkel in a controlled, shallow setting. Breathe through the snorkel only while its top is above the surface.
Care and storage
Compatible cleaning products
For standard uncoated mask glass, TUSA TEC52 anti-fog treatment is an option when permitted by the mask and treatment instructions. For a separate neoprene strap cover, if you use one, we recommend Cressi Neoclean Wetsuit Wash or Revivex Wetsuit Shampoo to clean compatible neoprene. Wash that component separately according to its care label and the cleaner’s dilution instructions, then rinse thoroughly and dry in the shade. These neoprene cleaners are not a recommendation for the mask lens or a regulator assembly.
Rinse thoroughly in fresh water after use, including the snorkel mouthpiece, purge valve and mask buckles. Remove trapped sand, check the skirt and straps, and let the equipment dry in the shade. Store it away from heat and direct sunlight. Use a suitable mask anti-fog product as directed; avoid abrasive cleaners or flame treatments.
For a different junior mask shape, compare the Marea Junior mask and snorkel set using its own size chart and fit guidance.
