Compatibility and fit
Check blade model, rail interface and the required fixing parts before ordering. Gara Turbo pockets are not automatically compatible with every brand or carbon blade. Fit the pocket with your intended neoprene socks; do not assume you should always buy one size smaller.
To measure your feet, place paper against a wall, stand with your heel gently against the wall and mark your longest toe. Measure from the wall to the mark in centimetres. Repeat for the other foot and use the longer measurement. Where a model has no foot-length chart, contact us with that measurement and your usual shoe size rather than using another fin model’s chart.
Size charts are a guide only; individual fit varies with foot shape. Check both feet and try the fins with any socks you intend to use. The pocket should hold the foot securely without curled toes, pinching or excessive movement. If you are between sizes, ask our Hallam team for fitting help.
How to Fit Cressi Gara Modular Foot Pockets
This video demonstrates Cressi Gara Modular foot-pocket fitting. This product uses the Gara Turbo system, so use the correct compatible blade, pocket and fixing parts and follow the supplied Cressi instructions; rail and mounting details may differ from those shown. Check that the assembly is securely retained before use.
Care and storage
Rinse in fresh water after use and remove sand from the foot pockets and adjustments. Dry in the shade before storing away from heat and direct sunlight. Check the pockets, retaining rails and blade fixings before fitting compatible blades or diving.
