Cressi Big Eyes Evolution Mask Size & Fit Guide
Read the Cressi diagram: Match the lettered rows to the illustration. Dimensions describe the mask, not the size of your face. Where shown, the nose-size scale is Cressi’s comparative reference, not millimetres. Use the chart as a starting point and check the fit on your face.
Check your dive-mask fit
- Keep hair and any hood clear of the sealing edge. Rest the mask on your face without pulling the strap behind your head.
- Inhale gently through your nose to check whether the skirt forms an even seal. Check for gaps at the temples, cheeks and upper lip.
- Check that the frame and nose pocket feel comfortable without pressing on the bridge of your nose. You should be able to reach the nose pocket comfortably.
- Adjust both sides of the strap evenly, using only enough tension to hold the mask in place. Tightening harder will not correct a poor seal shape.
- Recheck the seal with your snorkel or regulator mouthpiece in place and with gentle facial movement. If the shape is uncomfortable or will not seal, try another model.
For help choosing a mask shape, ask our Hallam team during business hours.

Explore the underwater world with the Cressi Big Eyes HD Mirrored Dive Mask, combining HD mirrored tempered glass lenses with a lightweight frame and a soft, adaptable silicone skirt. Built on Cressi’s Big Eyes Evolution design, this twin-lens mask delivers excellent downward visibility in a compact profile suited to scuba diving, snorkelling, freediving and spearfishing.
HD Mirrored Lenses
Cressi’s HD mirrored lenses are designed to enhance visual clarity, giving this mask its distinctive reflective finish. Combined with the Big Eyes lens shape and close positioning to the eyes, they provide a comfortable view of your underwater surroundings.
Whether you’re watching marine life, exploring a reef or keeping track of your dive buddy, the design puts visibility at the centre of the experience.
See More Below You with the Big Eyes Design
The inverted teardrop lenses extend towards the cheeks and sit at a downward angle, opening up the lower field of view. This makes it easier to look down at equipment attached to your BCD and see what’s beneath you with less head movement.
Cressi reports more than 30% greater downward visibility compared with a traditional mask for this design. The slim frame also helps minimise obstruction around the edges of your view.
Low Volume for Easier Clearing
The compact frame brings the lenses close to your eyes, reducing the space inside the mask while maintaining a broad field of view.
Its low internal volume means less air is needed to clear water from the mask or equalise the mask space during descent. This makes the Big Eyes HD Mirrored a practical choice for divers who appreciate a streamlined, lightweight design.
Soft Silicone Where Comfort Matters
The Evolution skirt combines two silicone densities to balance flexibility with support. Firmer sections help stabilise the frame, while softer silicone follows the contours of your face.
Reinforced areas provide support where the skirt needs it most. Around the face seal and nose pocket, thinner, more flexible sections improve adaptability and comfort during longer sessions in the water.
Flexible Buckles and Precise Adjustment
Fully swivelling buckles connect to the frame through flexible elastomer tabs, allowing the strap to follow the shape of your head.
The micrometric adjustment system lets you fine-tune strap tension in small increments. Because the buckles transfer tension to the frame, they help maintain stability without pulling directly on the soft facial skirt.
Supportive Frame Construction
The central bridge is designed to maintain lens alignment under strap tension, helping reduce the potential for optical distortion caused by frame flex. Together with the compact frame and supportive skirt, this creates a stable platform for comfortable underwater viewing.

Care for mirrored lenses
Compatible cleaning products
For a coated, prescription or anti-fog-film lens, use only the cleaner or defogger approved by that lens manufacturer. Gear Aid Sea Drops is not recommended for prescription lenses or anti-reflective coatings. For a separate neoprene strap cover, if you use one, we recommend Cressi Neoclean Wetsuit Wash or Revivex Wetsuit Shampoo to clean compatible neoprene. Wash that component separately according to its care label and the cleaner’s dilution instructions, then rinse thoroughly and dry in the shade. These neoprene cleaners are not a recommendation for the mask lens or a regulator assembly.
Rinse the mask in fresh water after use and handle the mirrored lens finish gently. Use only a cleaner suitable for that finish, following the supplied Cressi instructions. Avoid abrasive cleaners and flame treatment. Dry in the shade and store in a protective case away from heat and sunlight. Check the skirt, strap and buckles before diving.
