Apeks Pressure Gauge (SPG) With Miflex Hose

The Apeks SPG with Miflex Hose is a dedicated analogue pressure instrument for a compact regulator setup. Its luminous display and flexible high-pressure hose make it a practical companion to a wrist computer or separate depth gauge.

Features and benefits

• Battery-free pressure reading. The Bourdon-tube mechanism turns a change in gas pressure into pointer movement, giving you a direct reading without a transmitter link.
• Clear luminous face. Black numbers contrast with a luminous background that remains visible after light exposure.
• Brass housing and polycarbonate window. The nickel-plated brass body supports the pressure mechanism, while an anti-splinter window protects the viewing face.
• Flexible Miflex HP hose. The supplied hose gives you room to choose a comfortable routing and bring the gauge into view without pulling on the first stage.
• Protection and retention. The outer housing protects the instrument and HP connection, with an integrated loop for a suitable clip or retainer.
• Overpressure capsule. The pressure-relief arrangement provides an outlet if pressure enters the housing; keep it clear.

Setup and compatibility

The gauge is supplied with the Miflex high-pressure hose. Have the assembly fitted to the correct first-stage HP port and leak-checked. Keep hose curves relaxed and position the dial where it can be read throughout the dive.

The pressure gauge uses oxygen-compatible materials, but this standard version is not supplied oxygen-clean. Use only gases approved for the complete configured system and have any oxygen-service requirements assessed by an appropriately qualified technician.

Care, rinsing and storage

After each dive, rinse the gauge and hose thoroughly with fresh water. Keep the complete regulator assembled, connected to a secured dive cylinder and pressurised while washing and rinsing, with the stages, gauge and connected hoses submerged. This helps keep water out of the pressure system. Lift the equipment out and dry the cylinder connection before depressurising and disconnecting; fit the first stage’s clean, dry dust cap.

Let the equipment dry in the shade, then store it with the hose in a relaxed curve. Protect the instrument from impacts and avoid lifting the regulator or cylinder by the gauge hose. Before diving, inspect the lens, hose and fittings, check for leaks and confirm that the needle responds normally and returns to zero when fully depressurised. Have damage, internal moisture or an unreliable reading checked by an authorised technician.
