Astigmatism

Astigmatism is a refractive error in how the eye focuses light and is usually caused by an irregularly shaped cornea. 

In an eye with astigmatism the irregularly shaped cornea causes light to be focussed on two or more focus points which may be in front or behind the retina and this causes vision to be blurred or distorted to some degree at all distances.

Eye strain, headaches, and squinting are common symptoms of uncorrected astigmatism.

Gauge Reader Lenses

Gauge reader lenses for divers needing near vision correction only and typically for reading diving computer gauges. Ideal for divers involved in underwater photography.

Astigmatism correction is included at no extra charge.

Single Vision Lenses

Single vision lenses to suit an astonishingly wide script range including high prism and high cylinder powers. Single Vision lenses are for Divers who have trouble looking out into distance. These lenses are suitable for very high scripts which do incur an extra charge.

Bifocal Lenses

The bifocal lenses suit divers who need the distance and the near while diving.
